This is not my usual post – not that I’ve made that many yet – but given what day it is, I thought it deserved to be mentioned. Parker was my first pet that I got on my own as an adult and three years ago today he crossed over that rainbow bridge. I know we’re never ready to lose our fur babies but he was definitely too young at just 8 years old. I think about him daily, but today it just hits a little harder. I miss his personality and all the little quirks that made him, him. So today, hug your pets a little tighter and give them all the love they deserve.
